Tuesday Activity-
Our Face
PREPARATION
Get a small mirror (preferably a non-breakable,
mylar) for each child.
ACTIVITY
Talk to the students about their
differences. Have them look in the
mirror and watch themselves point to their facial features (eyes, ears, nose,
mouth, etc). Name different attributes
that individual children have (____ has yellow hair). Repeat with different attributes, like hair
color, height, color of clothing, eye color, length of hair, gender, etc. Talk to them about how we’re all different
and it’s ok to be different. BE
POSITIVE!

Activity- Fingers and Toes
PREPARATION
Print a hand with fingers spread out. Write the numbers 1-5 on each finger.
ACTIVITY
Talk to the children about their fingers and
toes. Have them count on one hand with
you. Make sure that you hold each finger
up as you count 1-5.

Friday Activity- All
of Me
PREPARATION
Make a large dice with body parts on it.
ACTIVITY
Have each child take a turn rolling the
dice. Whichever body part the dice lands
on the child has to touch!

|
Set out a teddy bear/baby along with strips of gauze or white cloth.
Give your children directions for using the strips to bandage different parts

Part Musical Squares
|
Put one square on the floor for each child. Place the squares randomly throughout the room. The game begins with each child standing on a square. Start playing music and have the children move around the room in a way that you state (crawl, walk backwards, hop, etc.). When the music stops the children must return to their square and touch a body part (Knee, Elbow, Foot, etc.) that you yell out. |

Alternate Activities
Feet Freeze
Have each child trace their feet(of course, you need to help them). Then cut out the feet, and tape them in a line throughout the classroom. Play some music and have the children walk around stepping on the various feet. You can play freeze this way.
